ITS maintains recognized academic oversight and institutional compliance through the following established accrediting and certifying bodies:

International Theological Seminary is a member of the Florida Council of Private Colleges (FCPC) and meets all of the requirements and authorization statutes of the State of Florida to issue degrees. FCPC confirms ITS has met the requirements and is in compliance with Florida statutes governing faith-based institutions.

ITS has certification through the Council of Private Colleges of America (CPCA) as an approved educational institution in compliance with the CPCA academic excellence standards.

ITS is an accredited member of the Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries (AICCS).

International Theological Seminary was founded in 1983 as a non-profit, Evangelical, inter-denominational Bible seminary specializing in theological and Ministerial training. ITS was the very first seminary on the internet. Our mission is to further the Kingdom of Jesus Christ by helping to prepare students in their calling for Him.

Yes, many of our students are located around the world, in Africa, Russia, Asia, Europe and elsewhere.

We offer eleven degree programs at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels.

The ITS program is self-paced, independent study. There are no in person requirements for ITS programs. Courses are a mix of online and traditional book course studies.

International Theological Seminary degrees have been recognized throughout the world for the past four decades. However, it is always up to the individual churches, ministries or other entities as to whether or not they choose to recognize a degree. If a student knows the organization they wish to work for, ITS encourages them to discuss this question with them before studying with us.

International Theological Seminary is an Evangelical, Inter-denominational Bible Seminary specializing in Theological and Ministerial training.

International Theological Seminary offers ministerial licensing and ordination to ITS students.

Admission to International Theological Seminary is based on the student's ability to satisfactorily complete the academic requirements. Other factors include the individual's Christian experience, call to ministry, and moral character.

ITS accepts credits from approved Colleges or Seminaries. A minimum grade of 'C' will be accepted. Students submitting transfer credits must contact all prior educational institutions and provide ITS with official transcripts. Associate degrees count as 60 hours of a Bachelor degree program. Potential students with extensive ministerial experience may be granted credits based on their experience. Life experience credits may only be counted up to 25% of a total degree program. Students are required to satisfactorily complete all prerequisites and required courses regardless of Life Experience credit.

International Theological Seminary strives to maintain Biblical based training in all study areas. and maintains reasonable tuition policies and payment plans to help students achieve the educational goals God has placed on their hearts. ITS does not accept any Federal financial assistance programs.
